Remembering Jim Davis (1963 - 2017)

In 2015, Jim became the first sponsor of the ETF 2.0

On February 25, 2017 our dear friend and colleague passed away after a battle with cancer. Jim is survived by his wife Joan and sons Matt and Alex. Jim had a distinguished career in the energy industry. Before joining Smart Wires as its CEO, he built Chevron Energy Solutions (CES) into a leading energy efficiency, power system reliability and renewable energy service company. CES developed hundreds of sustainability projects, resulting in more than $1 billion energy cost savings while reducing greenhouse gas emissions by more than three million metric tons.

Jim first participated in the Energy Transition Forum in 2014 as a study tour participant. In 2015, Jim became the first sponsor of the “ETF 2.0” as it launched into its own, independent not-for-profit.
